  2. Potential Careers • FBI Special Agent (HRT) • Musician • Video Game Designer

FBI (HRT) • Requirements (HRT): • 3 years of Law enforcement/Military Experience • Completion of continuing education courses in at least three of the following: Basic SWAT • Advanced SWAT • Hostage Rescue • High Risk Arrest • Barricaded Subject • Basic Sniper/Observer • Advanced Sniper/Observer • Tactical Firearms • Mechanical Breaching • Military Experience – Army Combat Arms experience. Service in Special Forces Group or Ranger Regiment will serve better. • Military Experience – NavyMust have served in the Naval Special Warfare Community as a SEAL or Naval Special Warfare Officer. • Military Experience – Marine CorpsCombat Arms experience. • Military Experience – Air ForceMust have served in Combat Controller, Combat Rescue (Pararescue), or Tactical Air Control Party fields. • Requirements (Agent): • Must be 23 years old, no older that 37 • Must qualify for one of these entry programs: Accounting, Computer Science/Information Technology , Language , Law , Diversified • After That: Accounting, Finance, Computer Science/Information Technology Expertise, Engineering Expertise, Foreign Language(s) Proficiency, Intelligence Experience, Law Experience, Law Enforcement/Investigative Experience, Military Experience, Physical Sciences (e.g., physics, chemistry, biology, etc.) Expertise, Diversified Experience • Must pass Physical test/background check

  4. FBI Benefits • Government Job • FEHB Insurance – 270 Plans • FEGLI – Automatic for FBI employees • FERS – Work for 20 years – 1.7% of “High 3” years, multiplied by 20 (years worked) • 6.2% of salary goes to Social Security, 1.7% to Medicare

  5. Musician Requirements • Must know how to play an Instrument/Music Theory • It can’t sound like crap • Must be okay with rarely making ends meet • Having a band/group might help • No actual “Job”, get gigs, make bank (not really), maybe get a record deal (probably never)

  6. Musician Benefits • Slight Twist: There is none • Depends on if you are working at a business teaching lessons • Only security, have to be rich like these guys.

  7. Video Game Designer Req: • Must be able to design: story, characters, levels etc. • Preferably BA + 2 year tech degree – Higher Salary • Need to understand Computer Programming • Provide feedback • Be creative

  8. V.G. Benefits • Depends on who you work for • Washington median salary: $83,011 • V.G. Industry is growing • Increased need for V.G. designers. • If your good, rewards can be great
