Ceres • Smallest dwarf planet • Largest body in the asteroid belt • Contains 1/3 of the asteroid belts total mass • Diameter = 590 miles
Jupiter • Less solid material in interior compared to terrestrial planets • Interior made of liquid hydrogen and helium, methane, and ammonia • Large magnetosphere and gravitational pull generates much internal heat • Still evolving
Jupiter • Magnetosphere is so large it engulfs its moons and reaches to Saturn-the sun could fit inside of it • Creates a quadrupole • At least 63 moons • Europa and Callisto have water ice • Gravity= 2.64 x Earth • Day= 9.8 hours • Orbits the sun= 12 years • Average temp.= -101℉ • Mean distance from sun= 484 million miles • Diameter= 88,736 miles

Uranus • Interior mostly liquid methane • Methane slush in atmosphere • Uranus does have a solid iron core • Still evolving • Planet rotates on its side • Large magnetosphere similar to Jupiter and Saturn
