  2. The 1st October 2012 was an important date for the Primary Care Trust.The PCT has now changed to a Clinical Commissioning Group

  3. The CCG is working hard to understand the number of people with a Learning Disabilities there are in BromleyThere is currently a Needs Assessment being undertaken by Public Health

  4. CCGs will continue to commission/buy local services for the whole population and this includes people with Learning Disabilities.The CCG has appointed a GP as clinical lead for LD and there is a lead commissioner.We will work in partnership with local agencies to ensure good quality services are provided.

  5. The CCG intends to develop a local strategy and a strategic programme for Learning Disabilities and we will involve service users and carers in this.We will work with all providers of services to ensure that there are good quality health services for people with learning disabilities that they can use easily.

  7. . • Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group (BCCG) • The PCT has now become a CCG and is responsible for the commissioning/buying of local health • The CCGs has appointed a clinical lead for people with learning disabilities, • The CCG will work with local partners to provide good quality services. • The CCG will involve service users and carers in the development of its strategic plans for people with learning disabilities.
