A Brief History of The Serenity Club • The Serenity Club opened its doors on May 1, 1996, with 32 scheduled AA meetings per week. • The Club serves the working class people of the greater Naples area, and our members have worked very hard to keep the doors open for the local recovery community. • Basket collections have never kept pace with the club's financial needs, so it has always been dependant upon special fundraising events to meet expenses. • Although we have survived - Membership may be the key to our continued growth.
Here are a few of this year's fundraisers that will help us to keep the doors open: • January Jubilee Dance (January 19) • Paradise Coast Roundup! (February 1-3) • Luau in Support of Sisters By the Sea! (February 10) • St. Valentine's Dinner & Dance (February 16) • St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Dance (March 16) • 18th Annual "Ham on Wry" Pig Roast (March 24) • April Foolery Masquerade Ball (April 20) • Spring Fling! (May 10-12) • Serenity Club's 17th Anniversary Dinner/Dance (August 10) • Sisters By the Sea! (September 6-8) • 5th Annual Serenity By the Sea! (October 25-27)
