Characteristics of Hiroshima Univ. • 1. Cooperative Research is growing every year. • 2. Major fields include high-technologies; bio-technology(38%), electronics (18%) and materials (10%). • 3. Tissue regeneration based on genetic and bio- technology at Hiroshima University is noteworthy, and nominated by the government as ‘Intellectual Cluster Area’ aiming new industries. • 4. Collaborations expand both countrywide and nationwide; Hiroshima Pre. (34%), Tokyo (21%) and the vicinity (22%)
