It was said of Jesus’ disciples: “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also.” Acts 17:6
Jesus’ Kingdom is an Upside Down House (compared to the world)Up is Down & First is LastMaster is Servant
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” John 18:36
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed…”Rom.12:2
“Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.” James 4:4

Last is Better than First "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."Mk 2:17
“When Jesus noticed that all who had come to the dinner were trying to sit in the seats of honor near the head of the table, he gave them this advice: When you are invited to a wedding feast, don’t sit in the seat of honor. What if someone who is more distinguished than you has also been invited? The host will come and say, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then you will be embarrassed, and you will have to take whatever seat is left at the foot of the table!
“Instead, take the lowest place at the foot of the table. Then when your host sees you, he will come and say, ‘Friend, we have a better place for you!’ Then you will be honored in front of all the other guests. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Luke 14:7-11
Humble is Better than Proud “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you.” 1 Pet 5:6 “Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar.” Psalm 138:6 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” James 4:10
The King Himself is Humble • Born as a human in an animal food trough • Never owned a home • Rode into Jerusalem on a borrowed donkey • Washed His disciple’s feet • Allowed Himself to be arrested • Allowed Himself to be whipped & crucified • “I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.” Isa.50:5

Pride is Brought Low “O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, For you said to yourself, ‘I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead.” Isaiah 14:12-15
Humility is Exalted Though he was God he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges, took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. … he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names.”

What is the Sinner‘s Prayer? This is a prayer we can pray when we are ready to admit we are sinners and need Christ’s forgiveness. It must be prayed with faith in our hearts and a readiness to have a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
You Should Pray this Prayer If : • If you never have before • You have in the past, but you think you would mean it more today • You have been walking afar off and you want to come back • You want to set an example and show others how it is done • You just like to give your heart to Jesus again & again
Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner & need your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins. I now turn from sin. Come into my heart I pray. • Do you want to meet Jesus as your savior right now? • Do you believe He died to save you from your sins & that He rose from the dead? • Do you believe that He is waiting to save you right now?
“But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”John 1:12
“If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”Rom. 10:9 • What did you learn today? • How does this lesson apply to our lives today? • What do you want to say about Jesus today?
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you… …Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you who are half-hearted towards God.”James 4:8 WNT
