Internet Explorer • Important Message from Software Answers • To help prevent your districts from experiencing ProgressBook Suite v17.0.0 incompatibility, we suggest that end users running Internet Explorer 10 or older upgrade to a newer version of the browser. As we continue to enhance the product and implement features found in newer browsers, unsupported browsers tend to accumulate more problems. • Therefore, it is important to note that Internet Explorer 8 or older cannot run ProgressBook Suite v17.0.0 at all, and all versions between Internet Explorer 8 and 10 will not function properly. • Users running these versions will receive a warning. They must upgrade to a new version of Internet Explorer or install a supported version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari. • Always refer to the most current End User Requirements if your users have any questions.
Internet Explorer The ProgressBook Suite Release 17.0 for 2017-2018 in summary • Internet Explorer 8 and older with Release 17.0will not work at all. • All versions between Internet Explorer 8 and 10 will not function properly. • Users running these versions will receive the warning pictured below. • Recommend updating to new version of IE, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Apple Safari.
Cherwell Helpdesk • Send emails to studenthelp@neonet.org to create Helpdesk tickets. • Must have a subject line • To access the Helpdesk go to the NEOnet website under Support>Helpdesk • Log in using your username and password for the ProgressBook Suite. • We have a new look for the emails coming from Helpdesk as shown below.
New Forms • There is no update on the new forms. • Software Answers called the ODE and they are still waiting for approval from their legal department.

Sps Release 17.1.0 • Build EMIS Extract • Previously, when you ran an extract that was not successful, the errors did not display. Now, the errors display on the screen below; Errors Occurred message.
Sps Release 17.1.0 • Build EMIS Extract • Previously, when the extract was successful, you had to go to the Process EMIS Extract screen to process the results. Now, the extract file is automatically ready for import in StudentInformation. If you wish to process the file locally, an Extract Successful message displays with a Click to Process link that takes you directly to the Process EMIS Extract screen.
Sps Release 17.1.0 • Process EMIS Extract • The View File column has been renamed View Error File, and the user interface has been updated. Additionally, you can now click on the file name to download and view the extract.
Sps Release 17.1.0 • View EMIS Transaction Log • A Completed Date column has been added to the screen. A completion date does not display if the file has not been processed. • All of the column headings have been renamed, and the wording in the Description column has been updated.
Sps Release 17.1.0 • Resolved Issues • Completed Tasks - Previously, when you switched from one student to another student with a large number of closed tasks, the web request timed out. Now, in these circumstances, the web request does not time out. • District to District Transfers - Previously, district transfers created duplicate pages. Additionally, when you created a new task by copying it from an existing transferred task, the new task also contained duplicate pages, and the data from the text fields on the transferred tasks did not copy into the text fields of the new task. Now, all district transfers function correctly, and all data from the copied tasks display in the new task fields.
DASL Release 17.1.0 • State Reporting • Special Education Import (SpS) • When you build an EMIS Extract in Special Services, the extract file is now immediately available as an option on the Please choose an available import drop-down list when you select an Import Method. • Physical File or Transfer from Special Education • In our EMIS Module Training we found that if the file has any errors the file does not transfer over.

Sps Release 17.1.2 • Open Task Print Error • the 17.1.2 Hotfix installed on Wednesday 9-13-2017 may have corrected the print errors in Open Task. • Please try printing and keep me updated if any errors occur. • I am leaving all tickets on Hold until we are sure this is resolved.
Completed Task Error • Completed Task Error • This same error can be found in some Completed Tasks. • If the Completion Date of the Task is prior to 9-13-2017 an error may have been captured in the Completed document. • If a Completed Task has the error, you will need to make a copy of the task, print, complete and delete the bad copy. • This is the only way to correct the issues. D2D Transfer/Import • Any Completed D2D Tasks can also have the error as well. • These tasks will need to be transferred again from the sending district, imported again at the receiving district, the bad copies deleted. • A copy of the D2D tasks can be CFE’s without errors, duplicates, or blanks • Please contact us if you have this issue
CFE Instructions • Create a Copy Instructions: • In Open Task, Select Create a New Task • Choose the same template • Keep the same Grade Level and School Year • Due Date – the next day • In Create from Prior – Choose the tasks with the error • Start Task • Print • Complete • Rename the bad copy Delete • Contact an Admin to Delete
