The cutters required more effort. • Stitchers have greater responsibilities to meet for high quality requirements. • Both cutters and stitchers have equal skills
RESPONSIBILITY In line with the labour code where the salary In line with the labour code where the salary should be equal for equal working conditions, qualifications and output the trade union assessed that the wages for both cutters and stitchers should be equal
WORKINGCONDITIONS • However the working conditions are not the same as a cutter was receiving 30% more wages than stitchers
ASSESSMENT • This assessment was undertaken on the considerations that equal skills were required, more efforts by the cutters but there was more responsibility on the stitchers.
