Information Sub Webs • Project Team Directory • Contains contact information on all NCSX Project personnel (name, telephone/fax, and e-mail) • This is an open access web • NCSX Publications • Contains journal articles and papers presented at scientific conferences • Nuclear Fusion, Plasma of Physics, etc. • IAEA,APS, International Stellarator Workshop, etc. • This is an open access web Module # 1

Project Office Sub Web • This is an open access web although some portions password protected • Contains • Meeting Presentation/Reports • FESAC and DOE, Project Advisory Committee (PAC), Integrated Project Team (IPT), Periodic Reports to OFES and DOE Project Office, & Project Meetings • Project Control Information • DOE Project Accounting and Reporting System (PARS) information • Project Control Documents – many are password protected since they contain cost and schedule information • Plans, Proposals, and Reviews • Presentations to all the Project reviews and audits • Major Project Documents • Critical Decision Letters • Major Top-Level Project Plans Module # 1

  8. Physics Sub Web • Contains physics analyses and information on the research and diagnostic plans • Also includes some early physics meetings during pre-conceptual design phase Module # 1

Engineering Sub Web • Each section contains links to specific lower level webs and to guidance documents • The NCSX Engineering Web contains the Project Files in an electronic format • Exceptions to this are electronic drawings and models (Pro/INTRALINK System) and hard copies of run procedures or vendor submittals stored in the PPPL Operations Center • Module 2 in this training syllabus will address the details of the Engineering Web • Will provide an overview of the contents of the Engineering Web • Subsequent modules will drill down into greater detail and discussions Module # 1

Two FTP Sites • Project FTP Site • For internal project use primarily • Provides convenient open forum for exchange and posting of large data files such as physics analyses • Supplier FTP Site • Prime source of technical/management information for the suppliers under contract • Specifications • Drawings and models • Statements of Work Module # 1
