Charge • Investigate and develop a technical report on the characterization of the mechanical behavior of cement under confinement • Workgroup deliverable –Submit a standardized process to be incorporated into the existing TR related to “Mechanical Behavior of Cement” by 2017 Winter Meeting.

6/01/2016 WG Meeting • Process Mapping Team ideas was presented by Anthony • WG Team • reviewed process map structure and accepted • provide comments for Sample Preparation and Perform Test headings only. • Test Evaluation section will be reviewed during August WG meeting. • Action Items • Review API TR-7 regarding Tensile Testing (Dog Bone versus Brazilian Test) methods • Review work group process map and TR-7 to identify commonalities between the documents • Review testing process/procedures submitted and report on various loading rates, etc. and ID similarities
June 01 MeetingLiterature Search Review and Discussion • Literature Search Work Team actions were presented to Work Group by Anthony • 20 References were submitted and documented • No Action was taken during the meeting • Discussion and action plan will be develop during August meeting.
Summary • Workgroup is making positive and measureable progress • Workgroup agrees that initial delivery date was very aggressive – 2017 Winter Meeting • Work group request a revised delivery date target of 2018 Winter Meeting • 2016 focus is completing the process map, and developing co-op testing plan and protocols • 2017 focus will be co-op testing, data analysis and final report submission to API • Operator participation in document review is essential
