  4. 2 Tim. 2:16-17 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Their teaching will spread like gangrene.

  14. What is the proper attitude? “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant... Matthew 20:25-26

You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

  16. What is the proper attitude? “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
