Students will represent the different continents of the world and try to provide their audience with facts and artifacts from these continents.
The Task • You will be assigned one of the seven continents of the world (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, & Antarctica). • You will find out some important information about the continent you’ve been assigned. • You will make a tri-poster of your continent, and some of the things you will include in your poster board will include, but not limited to: • The map of your continent • The countries that make up this continent • Important facts about this continent • Your favorite country which you have chosen to work more in-dept on, and which you will provide us with facts about. For example: their population, main industry, per capital income, language, culture etc.) Finally, you will create an artifact that represents this country and write a paragraph about what you want your audience to learn from your continent.
