  5. Humility • Is a lack of guile; it’s unpretentious • Is gentle and kind toward others • Is strength balanced by humility

  6. The Humility of Mary

  7. “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness…” Ephesians 4:1-2

  8. Mary was dependent on God. “The Lord is with you…” Luke 1:28 “I am the Lord’s servant…” Luke 1:38

  9. “…be clothed with humility for God… gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5

  10. Mary had vision & perspective “Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” Luke 2:19

  11. “He leads the humble in justice, and He teaches the humble His way.” Psalm 25:9

  12. Mary humbly released him into god’s hands “The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility.” Proverbs 15:33

  16. 4th release: Calling & destiny “Near the cross of Jesus stood His mother…” John 19:25
