  2. Topic Guidelines Nothing gross or tasteless No events after 1997 You have to like the topic Must focus on a single time period

  3. How should I think about the topic? What influenced this turning point in history? What was going on during this turning point? What did the turning point later influence?

  4. Assignments Blast Research- Find 5 possible topics you are interested in.

  5. 5 Topic Blast Research What's available for my potential topics? Individual (Due September 21st ) (major grade) List 3 Print Resources per topic List 3 Online Resources per topic Create an annotated bibliography for all resources (30 total.)

  6. Final Topic Selection What topic do I want to research? Group/ Individual (due Sept. 28) (daily grade) State topic Give a one paragraph description of the topic and how it was a turning point. IF a group, then list all group members.

  10. Bibliography/ Process Paper/ Thesis Statement What's next? Group/Individual (due Nov 16th) (major grade) Annotated Bibliography of primary and secondary sources Thesis: How does it fit the theme? Process Paper: How did I make this project?

  11. Rough Draft What is this project going to look like? Group/ Individual (Due Dec. 7th)(major grade) ALL words that will appear in your project Sketch of exhibit, outline of paper, sketch of website, or storyboard of performance or documentary
