  2. My Topic Question Why Do Bullies Bully?

  3. Background Research My topic on bullying is a very important topic. There are some incidents where people are bullied in their local schools, or they say they are bullied where they live. I think that their should be numerous ways where adults can help out the student(s) who are being bullied. For example: After school programs, indoor activities to get away from class.

  4. Continued Research In 2007, their was an incident where a student in a local middle school in Texas hanged himself in his bathroom at home. They say that he was consistently being bullied by other students in the school who found out that he was gay. I believe that students should not bully their own classmates over something that is very personal to them.

  5. How bullying is relevant to the Baltimore Community? Bullying is relevant to situations in the Baltimore community is that there are incidents where people are bullied in Baltimore City, over things like if students come to school not looking as people say “cool”. Also, another person may be bullied by people just because they look or sound a different way. The fact of the matter is that you shouldn’t bother other people if they don’t bother you first.

  6. My Experimental Procedure The things that I did to prepare to conduct my survey was that, I made out 10 questions on my topic “bullying”, then I made the questions into a constructive survey. Afterwards, I sent out 50 copies of my survey to people in Baltimore city for them to answer. Finally, I received all of my data and put them in data charts.

  16. Question 10 of Data Chart

  17. My Conclusion of Data What I can conclude about my data is that on some of the questions their were some people chose more little answers instead of the big answers. So my data was kind of in between. I’m glad that people answered my survey so that I could get a good grade in my class.

  18. How would I change my survey, If I were to do it again. I don’t think that I would change anything on my survey. I believe that I did a good job in completing my survey thoroughly, to the best of my ability. I also made sure that, I had good examples to prove my questions that I asked.

  19. Questions I would research in the future. The questions that I would recommend, I ask in the future is that, I would ask if students who have dropout would they regret it, or try and rechange their lives and go back to school. So, that they could make something better of themselves.
