  8. Comment from General Psychology Student: “I am very satisfied with the educational aspect of the course I took, Abnormal Psychology. After returning to school as a 55 year old adult, I found that online courses were better in terms of remembering the course content ... i.e. open-book quizzes. I found I recalled information better than if I had crammed for a traditional on campus scheduled exam, probably resulting from time pressure.” Student Satisfaction

Parent Education Goals • Increase marketing efforts • Continue to look for permanent home • Develop course for parents of older children • Reinstate infant class • Hire new instructional aide • Develop & implement evaluation process • Rewrite courses for repeatability & investigate concurrent positive attendance sections • Obtain signage for new site

Student Learning Outcomes Psych 115 Child Growth & Development • Completed training • Peer-Mentoring • Timeline for writing SLOs • Timeline for implementation of SLOs • Given a variety of contexts of development (such as historical, cultural, etc.), students will compare and contrast diverse approaches to child development and child rearing and teaching practices. • Given a set of case studies, the student will be able to interpret various maladaptive behaviors using psychobiological concepts covered in this course.
