Fall prevention network for older persons What is New Tools for Health?Michael Peolsson process leader • A regional growth initiative in East Sweden • Home-based care and independent living • A non-profit organisation • Funded by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems,VINNOVA, municipalities, the county council, industry and university • Focuses: ICT and sensor solutions for heart failure, diabetes, fall prevention and social inculsiveness

  2. Swedish Defence Research Agency and network in collaboration with social care provider LeanLink in Östergötland Sweden Complementing sensors Data fusion Integrity and de-identification

  3. We would like to participate in the thematic network building process adressing fall prevention/prediction among elderly. We are willing to take one of the leading roles in the network building. We would like to discuss partnerships within future EU projects.
