Congratulations to our Sixth Classes on their graduation from Scoil Colm. It’s that time of year again when we prepare to finish another great school year and our classes prepare to move on to another grade in September. It’s a sad but exciting time too as we prepare to say goodbye to our sixth classes who are reaching the end of their primary school education. We know that they are entering a new chapter in their lives and wish all of our sixth class boys well in Ms Forde’s and Ms Gilheaney’s class as they get ready for secondary school. For this special Graduation Edition edition of the school newsletter, they have written about their best memories in school. As the end of the 2013/14 school year approaches, I would like to say a very special thank you to everyone in our school community. In particular, I would like to thank our excellent and dedicated staff members and volunteers, supportive parents and, of course, our pupils. We are delighted to end our school year on a high having been awarded our second Green Flag and having received an award for Science and Maths Excellence. You are all warmly welcomed to join us in raising our new Green Flag for Energy on 19th June. My thanks to Ms Watkins, Ms Ní Chionnaith and all who were involved in our recent achievements.
