The Docking Experiments Conducted During Soyuz Project • Soviets launched the unmanned Soyuz 2 on 25 October 1968 • Next day Soyuz 3, with cosmonaut Beregovoy aboard went up • Beregovoy made repeated attempts and did get very close, he didn’t quite make the connection Chapter 6, Lesson 2
