Organizer The FAI European Championships for Control Line Model Aircraft Aero Club of CzęstochowaKnown to be one of the best aero clubs among the members of the Aero Club of Poland. Its leaderdhip position comes as a result of continuing success in instructor training, precision and rally flying as well as aeromodelling. Participants • Each Air Sports organization, a member of FAI, may register a team or a contestant in a chosen category. Supporters are welcomed. Dates • The date will be determined in March 2010, the preliminary date is June/July of 2010.
Location Częstochowa, Poland, is a beautiful city located on the main communication route (North-South) National Road DK-1, 225km south of the capital of Poland, Warsaw, 130km from the City of Cracow. In 1980 the Aero Club of Częstochowa has built an aeromodelling arena for the World Championships in Control Line Models F2 (A, B, C, D). Today, the arena succesfully continues to organize such events. The building provides three modelling tracks as well as the area where the F2D competitions can be played out.
The City of Częstochowa Częstochowa is known for the famous Pauline Monastery of Jasna Góra that is the home of the Black Madonna painting, to which miraculous powers are attributed. The country's most famous shrine and greatest place of pilgrimage attracts millions of tourists from all over the world. It offers a wide range of accommodation, amenities and facilities that will satisfy all visitors.
Częstochowa is located on the northern fringe of the Cracow-Częstochowa upland, commonly called Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska. The region's landscape is dotted with picturesque towns, beautiful forests and many nature paths. Perched on rocky outcrops, some of the mainly Middle Ages castles resemble eagles' nests.
Tourism Among the many tourist attractions, we gladly offer visits to the Monastery of Jasna Góra, the City of Cracow, a tour of the ancient salt mine Wieliczka as well as a trip to Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska. Our world-renowned Polish cuisine, pleasant and mild climate and the charming City of Częstochowa guarantee the most unforgettable experiences for all our guests.

Fees: • All fees and conditions will be known upon the acceptance of the Bulletin No.1 in December of 2011. • Flying zone: • The flying zone of the competition will be open for practice and oficial flights from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. • Website: • www.aeroklub-czestochowa.org.pl • Insurance: • The organizer will cover the third party insurance for each contestant for the time of the competition.
Accommodations • Accommodations will be offered by local hotels, motels and campsites. More detailed information (such as phone, fax, address, email) will be provided in the Bulletin No.1 as well as published on our Website. All costs will be published in the CIAM presentation in December of 2009.
