  4. WHIMSICAL • Write YOUR definition of ‘Whimsical.’ • My definition of Whimsical is……………………

  5. Whimsical • 1.Playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way • Example: Alice in Wonderland

  6. Student Example: Whimsical Sandwich

  7. Whimsical Sandwich • Your sandwich may have non-stereotypical items such as the Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, a Shoe • OR • Your sandwich may be a large-scale version of a normal sandwich • OR A combination of both.

  8. Whimsical Sandwich • Think about items typically not on a sandwich. • You are required to show at least 10 items, using modified contour lines. (Remembering all we have learned) • Must fill up the page and include a background. • Must have project proposal/ planning sheet completed (Tuesday) using lines, and the pencil medium.

Whimsical Sandwich • Learning Goal: Students will be able to create their own ‘Whimsical Sandwich’ on a piece of paper, using lines, and the pencil medium. • Having at least 10 items, table, and a background. SCALE 4- I can pick 10 items to draw that will be included in my whimsical sandwich and help a friend brainstorm items for theirs. 3- I can pick 10 items to draw that will be included in my whimsical sandwich. 2- I can, with help, pick 10 items to draw that will be included in my whimsical sandwich. 1- I can’t, with help, pick 10 items to draw that would be included in my whimsical sandwich.
