  2. Chapter1 There once was a kid named Tommy. He didn’t do his school work. He didn’t care about school. It was a bore to him. All though some days he often wanted to be a doctor. One Day while walking with his dad. His Dad said Here are the five pillars of success,

  4. CHAPTER 2 Tommy did what his dad told him and he made it through 6th grade. Then the first day of 7th grade he used the five pillars. Right before the class ended his teacher called him back. She asked him how he knew this he said,” My dad told me about them and how to use them.” She said,” How about I tell you how to be a ninja…”

  5. How to be a ninja: 1) pain before gain. 2) Be RESPONSIBLE 3) Use your resources. 4)Realty check

  6. CHAPTER 3 Soon the 1st test came up. Poor Tommy forgot his ninja skills and pillar methods. He thought and thought. All of a sudden he remembered how to memorize important facts.

  7. HOW TO MEMORIZE • Mnemonics • Rhymes • Specific things “simonies” • Acronysits • Picture

  8. Cheating legally • 1. Ask as many questions as you can. Let your teacher be your brain!!! • 2. Read directions, and instructions. Read completely!!!! • Talk with the older students who took the before for information that could help with the test.

  9. CHAPTER 4 • Tommy soon aced the test. That was good because it was the 2nd biggest test of the year. Now with the biggest test coming up what was he to do? He asked his mom to help him and she said, “ here are the 4 phases on how to ace a test.”

Phase 3= test day -read directions -look at entire test -essay questions: plot your answer -take time Phase 1= 1st night -review big picture -notes/ making questions -clues Phase 2 = 3rd night -Take study buddy. -make sure your at school each day. Night before test -cram/review. Phase 4 -review test -test fix -ask questions

  11. Chapter 5 • Once Tommy received his test results he ran home and showed his Dad! His dad told him how proud he was of him and that he keep his perseverance up and set himself up to win. Tommy knows that believing in yourself, and keeping positive people around you will help you accomplish your goals.
