National Database for Autism ResearchNDARMatthew McAuliffe, Ph.D.NDAR Science Coordinator NIMH, CIT
Vision and Goals Vision: To shorten the time for discovery of causes and treatments for autism by establishing a national data resource for collaboration in autism research and clinical practice. Goals: • Promote the sharing of research data via the BIRN infrastructure • Utilize the latest advances in bioinformatics technology • Broaden access to knowledge across domains • Provide powerful analysis tools • Develop standards to allow comparisons across studies
