  7. DIAGNOSIS/TESTS • Electrocardiogram: monitorselectricalsignals and detectsif a heartattack has happened • Echocardiogram: depictsanimage of theheart. It shows ifalltheparts and muscles are normallypumpingblood • CardiacCatheterizationorangiogram: a dyeisinjected in thearteries, and it shows blockagesonthe x-rayimages. A ballonisintroductedthrough a catheter and itisinflated in theareaaffected

  8. DIAGNOSIS/TESTS • CT Scan: computerizedtomography shows images of theheart. EBCT is a type of CT scan and itdetectshighamount of calcium • MagneticResonanceAngiography: it uses MRI tocheckforareas of blockages • StessTests: measurebloodflowwhentheheartis at rest and during stress
