Company Background • Alutiiq-MELE, LLC was formed in late 2003 as a joint subsidiary of MELE Associates, Inc. and Alutiiq, LLC. April 21, 2004 — ITS was rated #1 for FY 2003 in overall performance and customer satisfaction among the 10 prime contractors who were awarded tasks under the GSA ANSWER Contract. ITS earned this award for the fifth straight year in competition with well-known and highly respected companies such as Anteon, Booz-Allen Hamilton, Computer Sciences Corporation, DynCorp, L3/EER, Information Systems Support, Northrop Grumman IT (Litton/PRC) and Science Applications International Corp. The ANSWER contract is a 10-year, $25-billion worldwide contract for federally funded information technology projects.
October 29, 2003 – ITS named one of America’s entrepreneurial growth leaders by Inc magazine, which ranks the nation’s 500 fastest-growing private companies. ITS ranked number 167, up from last year’s No. 348. The ranking appears in the magazine’s special Inc 500 issue. ITS achieved 998 percent growth in the past five years, with 2002 revenue reflecting $46.3 million. Sales in 2003 are expected to come in at $58 million.

Relevant Experience National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA): Nuclear Effects Analysis – Providing Radiological Threat Reduction and Nuclear Effects Analytical Support to the Office of Global Threat Reduction, including “dirty bomb” and health impact analyses.
Relevant Experience Department of Energy Air Secure Project: Strengthened Lithuania’s Vilnius International Airport detection and interception capabilities for the transit of radioactive material. Our Team designed a first-of-its-kind networked security system. The installation consists of radiation detection portals (vehicular and pedestrian), surveillance equipment, data management and analysis software, and networking and communications equipment.
