  3. RFID란? • IC칩과 무선을 통해 식품, 동물, 사물 등 다양한 개체의 정보를 관리할 수 있는 차세대 인식 기술이다. '전자태그' 혹은 '스마트 태그‘, '전자 라벨‘, '무선식별' 등으로 불린다. • RFID는 우리가 흔히 쓰는 교통카드와 신용카드, 회사 출입증과 옷이나 식품 등에 부착하는 태그가 그것이다. • 미래에는 도난 방지, 자산 관리, 혈액 은행, 폐기물 관리, 박물관 등 다양한 분야에도 적용될 것이다.
