Project Objective • This proposal is for the development of a program that “crawls” through the Oregon State University College of Business website and develops a report that lists any links that are no long in use or direct to page that no longer exists within six weeks and at a cost of $2500 for labor costs paid by the College of Business.

Technical Requirements • The technical requirements to complete this project are as follows: • Computers • Programming software such as Microsoft Visual Studios or equivalent • Documentation creation program such as Microsoft Word • Bug management software such as a ticketing system • Access to the internet to test the College’s domain • Abide by HTTP protocol requirements from the W3C
Limits and Exclusions • Not support link checking outside domain • Fabricate a report that lists broken links and where they can be found on the COB page • Not fix broken links • Written in C# • Maintenance from COB staff after completion • Not search COB site where user declares no robots to view webpages.
