Proctoring • Monitor all testing sessions • Do not read any words or explain any directions on the reading & lang. arts tests (including Special Education students or ELL) • You may pronounce a word on the math test but you may not explain its meaning • Do not read or explain any math symbols
Proctoring Continued • Students need pencils and scratch paper for the math test • Teachers setup computers for the next class using seating charts on library counter • At the elementary level, do not send anything to the library printers during the entire test schedule • Send names of absent students to _____ along with the name of the missed test 5
Opening MAP Software • Computers will be on when you enter and student names will be on screen • If the computer needs to be restarted, login as:Username: mapstudentPassword: school • Double-click the MAP icon • Once the software opens enter:Username: (Ask your school administrator)Password: (Ask your school administrator) • All passwords highly confidential 6
Choosing Tests and Students • See handouts for Pausing or Terminating a Test and Selecting a Student • In grades 1-10 all students given the Survey Test w/ Goals Common Core V3 tests (you will need to select the appropriate grade level test) 7
