  2. Nicolas Jacques Conte He was born on August 4th, 1755 and he died on December 6th , 1805 at the age of 50.

  3. when the pencil was invented and patented. The pencil was successfully invented and patented in 1795 by Nicolas Jacques Conte. The pencils he made was cylindrical with a slot. Conte’s method of kiln firing clay and graphite allowed pencils to be made from any hardness and softness.

  4. The pencil’s details and purposes. • The pencil’s purpose is for writing on things and for writing senteces and words. • The pencils detail and the complexity is for listing its components.
