Bald Eagle Also Benjamin Franklin thought our national bird was a turkey. Our national bird started in 1782. Our bald eagle stands for two things freedom and power. All the bald eagles almost died from their baby’s a long time ago. A bald eagle can see miles away.
The Statue of Liberty France gave the Statue of Liberty to New York. The Statue of Liberty is located in New York. The United States received the Statue of Liberty in 1886 to celebrate Americas 100th birthday.
The Liberty Bell stands for our Independence! The Liberty Bell The actual Liberty Bell was first used in 1776 to summon people to independence hall to lesion to the first public . The last time it was rung was on George Washington’s birthday. The Liberty Bell stays in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. When they first tested the Liberty Bell it cracked!
Blue= justice White= goodness Red= Courage The American Flag When we say the pledge we are promising to be true to our country! Another name for our flag is Old Glory! The 13 stripes stand for the 13 colonies! Justice for all means fairness for everyone!
