  3. Key Learning • Students will examine and analyze primary and secondary sources in order to differentiate between historical fact and historical interpretation.

  4. Unit Question • How do primary and secondary sources present different accounts of the Great Depression and WWII?

  5. Concept 1: Great Depression • EQ: How did the economic conditions of the 1920’s allow for and encourage the social and cultural norms to change?

  7. Paragraph • When future generations study the last decade (2002-2012), what people/things will they study? • Choose 3 things you chose, or we discussed that you think define our decade. Be sure to explain why. (at least 5 sentences)

  8. The Roaring 20’s • Decade defined by rapid social change and economic prosperity • Politics returned to business as usual after WWI (laissez faire) • Culture– Harlem Renaissance, Jazz, 20th Amendment, and Prohibition
