What did you find out? • In order to form a triangle, the sum of the two smallest side lengths has to be GREATER than the third side. • If two triangles have the SAME side lengths we can say the two triangles are congruent. • This means the triangles are the same.
What did you find out? • In a triangle, the largest angle is opposite the longest side. • The smallest angle is opposite the shortest side. • If a triangle has congruent sides, we can say the angles opposite them are also congruent. • This means they have the SAME measurement.
