A monthly e-newsletter, the NSAE Offers Wisdom!, is sent to all members in good standing containing pertinent information regarding the business of associations, trends, upcoming meetings and conferences, new member announcements, and new services and discounts.   3. Why Membership? 3.5 minutes to starting Nevada Essentials Worth Sharing! is the online blog members may use to post personal experiences as related to the business of associations. These sharing sessions and discussion threads will feature helpful hints, educational tidbits, and best ideas for the benefit of the members.   4. Why Membership? 3 minutes to starting NSAE’s Influential Colleagues Exposed! is our version of a member recognition program. Each year, three members will be spotlighted for their exceptional service to NSAE and the association community. These spotlights will be featured on the web site for the entire year. The first member spotlighted will be the “Member of the Year” as voted on by the membership based on their support, participation, and leadershipefforts. Also featured on this section of the web site will be the “Recruiter of the Year”, and “Volunteer of the Year”. Each recipient will receive a $200.00 e-gift certificate.   6. Why Membership? 2 minutes to starting Resources: Membership Resource Directory All members are listed online at www.nsae.net. Each member receive a copy on CD. This section of the web site will be password-protected ensuring only member access. Member Preferred Discounts Each member supplier will be required to provide their goods or services at a reduced rate or discount to all members of NSAE. Web Site Development, Enhancement, and Maintenance A service that provides members a method to create, enhance and maintain their web sites at very affordable rates. Lending Library A library of books from ASAE and other sources that are resources for managing associations which are available on a check out basis.

Why Membership? 11/2minutes to starting Annual Events & Special Programs • Member Vendor Fair – a trade show format that showcases member organizations • Membership Mixer – members will be encouraged to bring potential new members that will be provided an opportunity to join at a first-year discount • Golf Tournament – The fun of golf and networking with targeted association professionals • Holiday Party – a selected charitable organization is the recipient of all fees and donations • NSAE Cares – each year, a project is selected within the community in need of restoration, repair, or improvement. This is NSAE members’ opportunity to ‘give back’. Members may submit their projects for consideration to be voted uponby the Board of Directors.

Sample Documents Annual Scholarship Reward Employment Center Job Shadow and Intern Programs Members may volunteer to mentor other members who want to shadow an individual in their work environment. Likewise, members may offer a paid summer intern program. Both of these programs are completely flexible relying on 100% volunteerism within the membership.
