Rounding. Locate the number that is in the column to be rounded. Underline it. Draw an arrow to the neighbor to the right. THINK about the number that the arrow is pointing to….is it 5 or greater (round the underlined number UP one digit)…..is it 4 or less (let it stay the same)

THINK about the number that the arrow is pointing to….is it 5 or greater (round the underlined number UP one digit)…..is it 4 or less (let it stay the same) Get rid of any other digits to the right of the decimal point. Digits to the left of the decimal point become 0.
