Independence Day Celebration 16th August 2014, Delhi Concept & Ideas by
Objectives – • To organize a spectacular evening for the audience and creating a hype around India’s Independence Day • Celebrating the nations Independence Day, as well as the achievements made by Partner NGO’s
The motivation behind organising the event on this particular theme is very simple – The Independence Day is viewed is just another National Holiday to hang out with friends and family. The spirit of the holiday has degenerated over time. The intention is to change the current perception the youth of the country hold about this important day and invigorate them to appreciate the sacrifices made by our forefathers. The logic here is that if festivals like Diwali and Holi can be celebrated with such fervour, then so can our Independence Day, the day when each of us gained the right to live free with our heads held high
Proposed Venue India Gate, New Delhi
The Pre-Event Campaign will revolve around the following tenets: Inculcating a sense of the Independence Day Emphasizing the importance of the Independence Day Initiating positive trends like - Planting trees - Spearheading sanitation efforts - Enforcing traffic rules
The Pre-Event Campaign will be promoted through different media partners Print Media RJmentions in every show 12 times a day and plays a 12-second jingle 4 times a day. The passes can be circulated here. Radio 30 selected outdoor hoarding spaces at premium locations Outdoor Media
