  3. Warm Up: • Have you ever taken part in a dare? • What kind of dare would you do for £1000?

  4. Today You Will: • Discuss pros and cons of an adventure • Plan some writing • Write work in paragraphs • Check your own work for spellings and grammar

  5. Shipwreck Information: • The ship was built in 1940 and worked as a cruise liner until 1993 • It was going to Thailand to be re-fitted as a five star hotel in 1994 • The S.S. American Star was being towed when it was caught in a thunderstorm and snapped in two • The wreck was left on a beach near Fuerteventura • The stern sank in 1996 • It finally sank in 2008, but about 15-20 feet of the bow is still above water • Many of the fittings were stripped and are now in bars on the island
