Working With Words Station Noise Level: 0-1 • Objective: Students will be working on word skills geared towards their level. • Monday • -Smart board activity with IUPUC Teacher. • Tuesday: • - Complete word work activity from your folder (short i, Sh,Th, Ch, Whand Long Osounds). If there is time left study spelling words. • Wednesday: • - Smart board activity with IUPUC Teacher. • Thursday: • - Complete word work activity from folder. (short i, Sh,Th, Ch, Wh and Long O sounds). If there is time left study spelling words. • Friday: • -Spelling Test!!! • Supplies: • Dry/Erase Board & Markers • Magnetic Letters, Play-Doh • Smartboard • Word Work Activity Indiana Standards: • R.F.1.1, RF.1.2, RF1.3 PBL Connection: This will connect to our project because students must be able to spell words and use them appropriately when speaking.
Read to Self/Read to Someone Voice Level: 0-1 Objectives: Student’s will increase fluency and build their vocabulary by reading level appropriate books. Monday- Read to Self-Read book silently to yourself. Tuesday- Read to Someone-Read book quietly with a partner. Wednesday- Read to Self-Read book silently to yourself. Thursday- Read to Someone-Read book quietly with a partner. Friday- Listen to Reading- Listen to books with your group. • Supplies: • A-Z leveled readers • Bag of Books Indiana Standards: • R.CCR.1, R.CCR.2, R.CCR.3, R.CCR.10, RL.1.1, RL.1.2, RL.1.3, RL.1.7, RI.1.2, RF1.4 PBL Connection: Each student will be reading a level appropriate book.
PBL Language Arts Station Voice Level: 0-1 • Objective: Students will be working on different parts of our project that incorporate our language arts/writing skills for the week. • Monday: Pass Out Collection Boxes– With Miss B, hang up the project flyers you made throughout the school. • Tuesday: Hang Up Project Flyers– With Mrs. Wolter, hang up the project flyers we made throughout the school. • Wednesday: M-Class Practice– Play Candy Land Game (Nonsense Words) • Thursday: Compare/Contrast- Use the Venn Diagram to Compare/Contrast two characters from the story we read this morning. • Friday: M-Class Practice- Play Candy Land Game (Nonsense Words) • Supplies: • Graphic Organizers • Crayons, boxes, paper • Pencil • Collection Boxes/Flyers Indiana Standards: RF1.1, SL1.1, SL1.5, SL1.6, L.CCR.1, L.CCR.2 PBL Connection: Students need to pass out the collections boxes for our sock collection, and hang up flyers to let students/staff know about our sock collection!

Math Project Station Objective: Students will be working on different parts of our project that incorporate our math skills for the week. Monday: Make/Sort/Deliver Pencils– Make a pencil pal or pinwheel pencil. Tape it onto a pencil gram. Sort pencil grams into correct piles. Deliver pencil grams to correct classes with Mrs. Wolter Tuesday: Make/Sort/Deliver Pencils Wednesday: Make/Sort/Deliver Pencils Thursday: Make/Sort/Deliver Pencils Friday: Make/Sort/Deliver Pencils Noise Level:0-1 Materials: *Pencils/Crayons/Paper *Scissors/Glue *Ruler Common Core Standards: 1.MD.2 Project Connection: Students will be making these pencils to sell to the entire school in order to raise money for their project.
