My role model is Mikhail Lomonosov. He was born in 1711, in a little village near Arkhangelsk.
His father was a fisherman and couldn't read or write. His son was very unusual. He liked books and always wanted to know more. His mother learned him to read, to write, but she died when he was a child. When he was 19, he left home and went to Moscow.
He went to school there. Then he studied in German and Holland. In 1753 he founded the mosaic factory.
Fifteen years later he became the founder of the Moscow State University.
I think, that he made a lot of for people because, he was a great chemist, physicist, writer and poet. He died in 1765. His grave is in St. Petersburg.
