South Australia • Floral emblem is sturts desert pea • Colonel William light founded SA • Animal emblem is piping shrike [bird] • Capital city is Adelaide • There are aboriginal engravings from 40,000 believed to be the oldest in the world • The city of Adelaide was founded by king William and was named after his wife
