Lab Safety • Take Lab Safety Quiz • Then you will grade you partners. They must get 16/20 or 80% mastery to pass.

Can Demo & White-boarding • Each pair needs a WB, marker and washcloth. • DRAWING PICTURES, answer the following questions: 1. What is happening when the gas is turned on? 2. What is happening when there is a flame? 3. What is happening when the flame goes out? 4. What is happening at the end of the demo?
Safety: What-Not-To-Do Lab • Work with your table partner. • Look at the pictures, and use your knowledge of lab safety to determine what is wrong with the picture. • Record the problem and how it should be fixed to make that situation safe for the lab.
