  2. What is Cloning? • Cloning is simply one living thing made from another, leading two organisms with the same set of genes. In that sense, identical twins are clones, because they have identical DNA. s.

  3. Cons of Cloning  • It can weaken our abilities of adaptation. • It could destroy our economy. • It will be putting animals rights on the line as well as human. • One aspect is the possibility of physical harm to the human embryo. They see that technology is not safe enough to use on humans. • Some are also afraid that clones will age quicker since the cell used in the cloning procedure has already been used in a real life individual.

  4. Benifets of Cloning  • We can clone human organs to save lives. • Cloning in human beings can prove to be a solution to infertility. • They might be able to understand the composition of genes and the effects of genetic constituents on human traits, in a better manner. • Cloning can serve as the best means to replicate animals that can be used for research purposes. • They can use it to clone plants so we can get more crops grown faster.

  5. Current use of Cloning • Cloning is currently used for cloning endangered animals such as the Guar and the Giant Panda. • Maybe some extinct animals or animals from the past. • Cloning is also being currently used for making human organs and medics'. • Also cloning Farm animals such as cows, sheep and goat are currently being engineered to produce drugs or proteins that are useful in medicines. • They are also trying to use cloning to cure sick people.

  6. Future of Cloning • Cloning is pretty much a good and bad idea, the good reason is if an animal is going extinct you can clone it and no more extinction with nothing! • But the bad part is if cloning becomes a big industry a lot of people would try to rule the world by cloning food supply such as milk, meat, water, and etc. • And many people would get a disease and start dying and population would start decreasing. • Clones are more susceptible to many genetic defects, illness and death yet it could be argued that the same conditions can and do occur in beings born through the natural process of procreation. • They might make humans immortal by using cloning.

  7. Ethical issues on Cloning  • Some ethical issues people have with cloning are: That some people don't think it is right because people want to start cloning extinct animals. • Which is not ethical to most people because everyone could get hurt if they clone dinosaurs. • Others think that it is OK to clone because it could save lives if we clone certain people. • Other think that cloning can go horribly wrong because the clones might go evil. • It might cause more cancers and illness.

  8. $Cost of Cloning$ • It approximately cost 1.7 million dollars to 2 million to clone a human and cost up to 500,000 dollars to clone an animal such as a cat or dog.

  9. Our opinion on Cloning  We think it is a good idea in some circumstances because it can help the society if you make clones of some animals and sell them. Also we can make clones for organs or limbs for the people that need. And we can use them to get out of situations like war so we just make them to fight.
