  10. Early Start • Students must begin their remediation, if required, the summer before their fall enrollment. • Communication to students will begin at point of Admission. February – March 2012 • Applicants must monitor their MyCSUMBaccounts for messages and posted deadlines associated with Early Start • ELM/EPT must be taken as early as possible and no later than the May 5, 2012 testing date. • Students may complete Early Start at CSUMB, other CSUs, or California Community Colleges. Admissions Appeals Students can appeal admissions decisions • Must be submitted in writing and must include • Appeal Form – http://admissions.csumb.edu/appeals-process • Updated transcripts • Other supplemental documentation • Allow 2 weeks to process • Decisions on appeals are final All appeals are reviewed by a committee and considered on their individual merits.
