  3. Earned a Doctrine in Philosophy in 1923 at Belgium’s Catholic University of Leuven • Became the 1st American ever to win the Cardinal Mercier award for the best Philosophical treatise • Taught Philosophy until 1950

  4. Archbishop Sheen wrote 73 books and numerous articles and columns - God and Intelligence, 1925 -Religion Without God, 1928 -The Life of All Living, 1929 Rev.
