Compare/Contrast the US Constitution with the TN Constitution • Materials: SS textbook (R7), TN Blue Book and/or computer http://tennessee.gov/sos/bluebook/07-08/47-Constitution,%20Tennessee.pdf (this link is on Mrs. Henderson’s portal—under S.S.—labeled “TN Constitution”) • Task: Using the materials listed above, work with a partner to find at least 2 similarities and 2 differences between the US Constitution (SS textbook R7) and the TN Constitution (Blue Book or computer) • Share: Once majority of the class has had time to look up information, then come back together as a class to share- noting similarities and differences. • Notes: Students copy Venn Diagram (next slide) into their spiral.
