  2. Where is it? • Uganda is in the Middle East part of Africa.

  3. Everyday Life • Parts of Uganda are very poor, while other parts are wealthy. • For Example, Kampala is the capital of Uganda, and is rather wealthier than of other cities.

  4. Geography • Small country • Capital-Kampala • Located on Plateau 3,609 ft in the air. • Lake Victoria helps them get imports and exports. • Nile runs through it.

  5. Kampala • Capital (largest city) • Waterfalls • Never goes under 54˚F • Makerere University • Divided into: Kampala Central, Kawempe Divisions, Makindye Division, Nakawa Division, and Lubaga Division

  6. Jinja • 2nd largest city • Nile River • Nile High Bungee • White Water Rafting on the Nile • Jinja club • Golf, swimming, tennis • Big on Agriculture

  8. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park • 160 species of trees • over 100 species of ferns • Monkeys and Birds

  9. Culture • Religion: Christian • Weather: Tropical • Currency: $1 US = $2,150 Uganda • Fashion: Tribal • Government: Democratic Republic • President: Yoweri Kaguta Museveni
