  3. The number of credentials awarded continues to increase: 13.9 percent from AY2010 to AY2011

  4. Undergraduate credentials make up 84.8 percent of all credentials awarded.

  5. Retention and Graduation Rates AHECB Meeting of April 26, 2012

  7. Females are retained at higher rates than males.

  8. Asians and Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders have the highest fall-to-fall retention rates.

  9. Younger students (Age 18-19 and Less Than 18) have the highest fall-to-fall retention rates.

  10. Remediated Students have lower fall-to-fall retention rates.

  11. 6-Year Rates (150%) Graduation Rates are improving at both 4-Year Universities and 2-Year Colleges. 3-Year Rates (150%)

  12. Females graduate at higher rates at the 4-Year Universities. Males graduate at higher rates at the 2-Year Colleges. NOTE: Transfer students are counted in the cohort (denominator) but not as a graduate (numerator), unless they return to the home institution and graduate within the appropriate time frame.

  13. Asians graduate at higher rates at the 4-Year Universities.

  14. Whites graduate at higher rates at the 2-Year Colleges.

  15. Younger students (Less Than 19 and Age 18-19) graduate at higher rates at the 4-Year Universities.

  16. Older students (Age 45-54 and Age 55 or Older) graduate at higher rates at the 2-Year Colleges.

  17. Remediated students graduate at substantially lower rates at both the 4-Year Universities and 2-Year Colleges.

  21. Most athletes receive some level of scholarship.
