Co-inventorship & Co-founding Companies 2002: Nucleico Based on a molecular biology method developed in a corporate biotechnology lab, then spun-out to form a separate company. Investment & capital from another biotech firm, IP licensing fees paid to the originating company. Dissolved in 2005 due to competition with drop in cost for DNA sequencing. 2006: Broadband Antenna Tracking Systems (BATS) Based on a method for auto-aiming directional antennas to lower the risk of injury to technicians on communication towers. Optimized to auto-aim and maintain wireless network links with distant, moving vehicles and vessels. Over $3 million in sales in 2010. Founding technology developed and licensed from Purdue University 2008: Genomic Guidance Based on a method for electronically managing clinical genotyping (DNA testing) records in support of healthcare (software and data management). Exploring a second business component involving DNA testing (hardware). Founding technology developed and licensed from Purdue University.

Vision of Defense Company enabled through 2nd BATS product for Harris Corporation. Successful demo conducted with Ecuador Navy. U.S. Navy demo is scheduled. Challenge: Ship-to-Ship, Ship-to-Shore, Ship-to-Air
BATS System combines hardware and embedded software to enable an auto-aiming antenna system • Signal strength and network performance variables are monitored by the system. • Algorithms utilize these variables, as well as GPS, gyro-sensors, and accelerometers to determine the optimal antenna position. • Motors control the azimuth and elevation of the antenna Over 300+ units installed worldwide. Major business sectors include marine oil and gas exploration, command & control, and emergency responders.
Emergency Response/Homeland Security Market Gaining momentum in huge market with dire need. Beginning dialogue with FCC and FEMA
Standby Oil & Gas First Ever Ship-To-Ship Adhoc Mesh Network (Moving ships at great distances). Enabled leading Seismic Survey Company to conduct new revolutionary method for collecting seismic data.
Military: Lockheed Martin Products Rapid Deployment of Gigabit Speed Wireless Communications Requires Aiming .4 Degree Beam (e.g. 10 ft. target at 1.5 miles)
