  2. 2nd Planetary Data Workshop • 2nd Planetary Data Workshop • Gaddis now working with LPI • Especially helpful for local logistics and facilities rental • USGS procurement process has improved, but remains an uncertain partnership, so best to side-step it • Rapid turnaround on the abstract volume • LPI now searching for a meeting venue • Sets the event dates • Budget will be determined by LPI for several different scenarios (i.e., registration fees) • LPI will request support funds from NASA HQ • Logistics only (venue, refreshments, etc.) • No participant or organizer support • This is their normal process for meeting planning • Planned for Flagstaff, June or July 2015; every two years • Avoids Senior Reviews, Geologic mappers meetings, etc.
