Overview • Distance learning, also called distance education, e-learning, and online learning, and represents is a form of education in which includes physical separation of teachers and students during instruction and the use of various technologies to facilitate student-teacher and student-student communication.

  3. Characteristics of e-learning • Distance learning is carried out of institution • Courses are accessible any time, from any location • Courses are interactive. Interaction with teachers and students done on-line • Possibility to link and update any available teaching material • Possibility to use different methods of evaluation and self-evaluation • Permanent feed-back
