Selected Rights & Responsibilities • Nine-month TA/AI salary for 20-hour appointment • Highest: $16,002 average of 15 colleges • Lowest: $ 8,714 • ECE: $13,500 • Break-even salary is about $12,700 • Fringe benefits • UT Austin provides second highest benefits according to national survey • Not eligible for family and medical leave act • Leave is up to benevolence of department chair • Student Emergency Fund by Dean of Students April 28, 2008
